UTV Roll Cage Chop Mar 30 Written By Andrew Huf Chopped top, riding fast and low… This chop came with a few challenges, most notably, the fact that, after removing the sections of tubing for the chop, the remaining tubing didn’t exactly match up. This lead to getting artistic with a tube bender and a 3” ratchet strap. The finished tubes were sleeved with 11 gauge DOM tubing to heavily reinforce the joints, MIG welded, and then ground to a seamless finish. Unless you were upclose with a magnifying glass, you’d never know this machine was chopped, and that’s exactly what the customer wanted! We’re chalking this one up as a win. Andrew Huf
