Custom Steel Bridge - Garden Bridge

When a client asks for a patriotic steel bridge with a big eagle on it, that is exactly what I am going to make! Pictured above is the 3d computer drawing of the bridge I will be making. You will notice that the CNC cut eagle is “floating.” I haven’t decided, yet, how exactly to do the balusters at the main landing…I’m thinking less will be more. I don’t want to take away from the eagle by using a busy or eccentric design on them.

Overall this little garden bridge will be 8’ long with a 12” height at the top landing. I’ve opted for 1/8” wall thickness on the steel used for the main constriction of the bridge, and 1x6 pressure treated wood for the treads of the bridge. Progress updates coming soon!
